Garage Sale Vases!
So I got some really cheap glass vases from a garage sale, I did this after reading online all the different things you can do with them to make your place look cool and it’s really paid off. I made some disaster piece’s at first that just looked tacky but now I’m getting really good at it. I bought a huge cheap glass vase for like ten bucks from a guy who didn’t want it anymore. I added some colored water and a light under it…I know, it sounds really cheap looking but it actually looks really cool and makes for a great conversation piece. I don’t even have any plants in the vases because they’re filled up with much cooler things like rocks.
I did read online that one guy took a cheap glass vase he bought, put water in it, treated the water and turned it into a goldfish bowl / vase. That’s a really cool idea! I want to have a fish on my dining room table swimming around while I have people over to eat, that’d be really cool. I just don’t want a big mess or to get dirty look from it if we happen to be eating salman that night!
All in all my pad is looking really cool and the changes I’ve made have paid off. Eventually I’ll buy enough vases to have at least one in each room and kind of get a motif going. Should be nice! I’ll try and get some pictures up if I ever get around to taking them but I’ve been doing so much golfing I don’t know when that will be.
